The Pila docs have been rebuilt from the ground up — a new landing page, a task-first entry point, and a reorganised reference that mirrors how an integration is actually built.
The new Get Started hub lets you search the documentation by what you are trying to do — “give a customer a dedicated NUBAN”, “issue a virtual USD card”, “verify a webhook signature” — rather than by which endpoint you think you need.
Endpoints are now grouped by what they do: Wallets, Cards, General services and Webhooks, each behind a short set of get-started and core-concepts pages.
- Quickstart — create a wallet and send your first transfer in four calls.
- Authentication — the
AuthorizationandAppIdheader pair, in one place. - Response format — the
entityenvelope, status codes, and why a200on a transfer does not mean it settled. - Glossary — NUBAN, BVN, BIN, route, pool account and the rest, in plain language.
Every previous /docs/… URL redirects to its new location, so existing links and bookmarks keep working.
A walkthrough of the dashboard itself — Overview, Wallets, Transactions, Payouts and BaaS settings — covering what each figure means and which settings to configure before going live.
Verifying webhook events now includes signature validation examples in Node.js, Python and PHP, constant-time comparison, IP allowlisting, and guidance on handling duplicate deliveries.
